Each product we publish has its own privacy policy, linked from within that product, describing what it actually collects. For example, SchoolLunch's policy is at lunch.school/privacy — it covers accounts, order history, and payments, which that product uses and this website does not. What we collect
We keep this simple:
- No accounts required by this policy's scope. Where longtailsoftware.com works without an account, nothing you type stays on our servers — your data lives in your browser and leaves only if you export it yourself.
- Basic analytics. We collect anonymous usage statistics — pages visited, approximate region, browser type, and referring site. This tells us which features are useful. It is aggregate data; we do not build profiles of individual visitors and we do not use advertising trackers.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent any data to anyone.
- We don't run third-party advertising networks on longtailsoftware.com.
- We don't send marketing email unless you explicitly asked for it.
